Obama streaker agrees to strip again
October 15th, 2010 - 1:41 pm ICT by ANINew York, Oct 15 (ANI): A man-who ran naked in front of President Obama-has reached an agreement with his billionaire benefactor to shed his clothes once again, but this time it’s not for one million dollars.
In exchange for an undisclosed sum, Juan Rodriguez has agreed to try to streak again, in front of another undisclosed head of state.
Brit billionaire Alki David, who issued the online dare, said Rodriguez’ s in-the-buff bolt fell short of the web site challenge.
“I spoke with Mr. Rodriguez directly,” the New York Post quoted David as saying in a statement.
“Mr. Rodriguez agreed that he was not able to complete all the criteria of the challenge. But he came so very close, and his personal story about why he decided to take such a risk for his family, moved me to provide him with a generous consolation prize,” he said.
David had said he would not pay the one million dollar prize unless the White House confirmed that Obama actually saw Rodriguez in all his glory.
David said that despite the “failed attempt,” he has agreed to pay all Rodriguez’s sister’s hospital bills, Rodriguez’s rent for the next year and will provide him with an additional undisclosed amount of cash.
Rodriguez’s pays 1,600 dollars a month for his apartment in Stapleton. (ANI)
