London, Sep 30 (ANI): US President Barack Obama has revealed that music to him is a great source of enjoyment and he listens to rappers Lil Wayne and Nas on his iPod.
“Jay-Z used to be sort of what predominated, but now I’ve got a little Nas and a little Lil Wayne,” the BBC quoted him as telling Rolling Stone Magazine.
Whilst he admitted to being “no expert” he credited his aide Reggie Love, saying with his help “my rap palate has greatly improved”.
He also gave credit to his daughters for developing his musical tastes.
“[Malia and Sasha are] now getting old enough to where they start hipping me to things,” he said.
“Music is still a great source of joy and occasional solace in the midst of what can be some difficult days,” he added.
The president said his listening habits were wide-ranging and included Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan and Rolling Stones, as well as jazz and opera. (ANI)
