Obama arrives at Oslo to receive Nobel Award

Oslo (Norway), Dec 10 (ANI): U.S President Barack Obama arrived here on Thursday to receive the Nobel Peace Prize.
Obama is the third sitting American President to acquire the honour.
Earlier, Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were honoured by this award in 1906 and 1919 respectively.
President Jimmy Carter was honoured with the Nobel award 20 years after he left the White House.
Obama is scheduled to meet Norway’s Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg and the Norwegian Royal Family before receiving his medal at a formal ceremony later this evening. (ANI)
