New York, June 4 (IANS) A New York Times delegation is visiting India this week to look at their digital programme being developed at the Indore, Madhya Pradesh offshore centre of Diaspark, a US based IT services and consulting company. The Times has been collaborating with Diaspark, with offices in New York, New Jersey and Chicago, as part of the daily’s Knowledge Networks business driven by its commitment to furthering the cause of education and learning and “education without walls”.
The delegation will review the work, quality initiatives and technology processes at Diaspark’s facility in Indore during their three day visit.
Delegation members include New York Times director-education Felice Nudelman, director-R&D Ali Jafari and director-IT Anil Sharma.
Nudelman, who oversees the NexGen group in the Times and development of national strategies, marketing and new business opportunities in the education segment, said, “We are excited about our association with Diaspark and are glad to visit the Indore facility and meet up with the entire team.”
In a press release, Diaspark president Vipin Bhardwaj said, “The team will experience first hand the engineering processes and quality initiatives at play at our development centre in Indore.”
