London, July 27 (IANS) Mitch, troubled singer Amy Winehouse’s father, has decided to release an album and is currently busy selecting tracks including Frank Sinatra covers as well as his own songs.
“Mitch has been working on it for a while now. Amy always credits her dad with getting her into singing. He loves music. He has a good voice and wants a go at turning professional,” thesun.co.uk quoted a source as saying.
“Mitch has approached his daughter’s label, Island Records, about a deal. If that doesn’t work, he can always call on his daughter, who has her own label, Lioness,” added the source.
