Now, a magic scarf that can be turned into a dressJanuary 15th, 2009 - 6:14 pm ICT by ANI
London, Jan 15 (ANI): Amid the global financial crisis, a company has come up with a magical scarf that can transform from a piece of neck wear into eight other items, including a dress, a skirt, a or boob-tube style top.
The stretchy garment, which costs just 6.50 pounds, can be converted into a poncho, a pashmina, a hood, a belt or even a hand muff to keep hands warm in chilly winters.
“It really is the ultimate accessory, in fact it is more than that, it is almost an entire wardrobe in one,” the Telegraph quoted Loie Levine, from The Magic Scarf Company, as saying.
The company has so far sold almost 170,000 pounds of the scarves to British customers over the Internet.
“It is very popular all over the world as it is a reasonable price and you can do so much with it. Our major market is in the US but we have sold approximately 170,000 pounds worth to the UK, Levine said.
“There are no major chains or stores who carry the scarf, just smaller stores and boutiques but much of the sales have come from our own website,” she added.
The scarf can even be washed in a washing machine at low temperatures. (ANI)
