Now, a comic book on royal wedding

Washington, April 6 (ANI): The romance between royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton has been illustrated in a comic book, which has hit the shelves alongside Spiderman and Archie.
‘Kate and William - A Very Public Love Story’ is written by US writer Rich Johnston, who started out on the project after a friend suggested to him to write a comic book story about the royal wedding.
“It literally was a joke e-mail sent to me by a friend, saying: ‘I bet you couldn’t do a comic book on the Royal Family’s wedding’,” CBS News quoted Johnston as saying.
“I said I bet I could,” he added.
Johnston then spent two months researching and writing the story.
The story starts with the couple’s early days, William’s family vacation, and Middleton dreaming about being a princess.
The plot thickens when Middleton wore the now infamous see-through dress at a school fashion show - the event said to have sparked her romance with William.
“I loved finding a way to telling their stories independently. So I have Kate telling her story, using a fictional diary which she keeps from a young child. And then from William I was able to use a mixture of newspaper headlines going through his whole life and taking the idea of like army — RAF mission briefing,” said Johnston.
The stories are available together in a flipbook version or as separate issues.
The combined edition ‘Kate and William: A Very Public Love Story’ is currently limited to 3,000 copies.
The story of ‘Kate - A Very Private Princess’ and ‘William - A Very Public Prince’ have 2,500 copies each. (ANI)
