The man was asleep at a stop near Epping railway station at about 12.45am when a bus pulled into the depot and five males, believed to be in the age group between 17 and 19, approached him.
Two of the five youths allegedly bashed him, while their three companions are believed to have tried to stop the assault, The Age reports.
The unprovoked bashing left the victim with minor injuries to his mouth.
Meanwhile, the police said that all the five youths ran away from the scene. They are also investigating the matter and have appealed for witnesses.
This is not the first time that an assault has been reported from Epping. Earlier, four Indian men were alleged bashed outside a hotel in the same locality. (ANI)

I had Australia permanent residency but I gave it up. One of main reason I left Australia is that there are too many racists there. I met racist in university, hospital, on the bus, almost everywhere. The racists are professor, doctor, government employee. Secondly, I didn’t feel proud to be Australian. Most of white Australian are the descendant of British prisoners. They killed aboriginals and now living on the rich resource. What kind of high tech Australia have? They only can make Uggs
