Notre Dame basketball star slams rumours of naked picture in Twitter rant
April 18th, 2011 - 5:35 pm ICT by ANINew York, Apr 18 (ANI): A Notre Dame basketball star has taken to Twitter to slam rumours that the nude pictures floating around online are not hers.
According to USA Today, Skylar Diggins slammed tweets that claimed that the pornographic picture shows her in a compromising position wearing nothing but her birthday suit.
“Gotta clear this up. I dnt know wht pic is going around, but tht is NOT ME,” the New York Daily News quoted her as writing in a series of tweets.
“IDK who is going around trying to defame my character, but its sad. The people that know me and love me know that I would never handle myself in such a careless and classless manner,” she wrote.
She has since changed her account so her posts are private, but she revealed the rumours upset her deeply.
“I can truly say I am hurt by this…I dnt believe how someone could attempt to ruin my name but being untrue. I am stronger than this though,” she said.
“I will not run away and hide. There is no reason to…..goodnight and I will be back to continue my thoughts and tweet regularly tomorrow…” she added. (ANI)
