North Korea military says to do its best to maintain peace with South Korea
February 24th, 2011 - 6:27 pm ICT by ANIPyongyang, Feb.24 (ANI): The military of North Korea had said that they will do their best to improve relation with South Korea in order to maintain peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula.
The inspection group of North Korea’s National Defense Commission made the remarks in a statement to disclose the truth of Yonphyong Islet incident, Xinhua reported.
The incident took place as South Korea fired at North Korea.
South Korea regenerated the conflict with an aim of maintaining the illegal “north border,” denying the two “declarations” and involving the U.S. in its plot of aggression toward the north.
According to the statement US tried to form a system of military confrontation by accelerating tensions on the Korean peninsula in order fulfill its ambition of dominating the world.
The statement further pointed that nobody should cling to the incident as it a part of “ignominious history”. Otherwise the relations between South and North Korea will not improve. (ANI)
