Noah’s Ark and Tower of Babel to be built in Kentucky
December 3rd, 2010 - 3:23 pm ICT by ANILondon, Dec 3 (ANI): A full-scale Noah’s Ark is to be constructed in Kentucky, as part of a proposed 100-million-dollars creationism-themed amusement park.
The planned complex will also feature a walled city, a replica of the Tower of Babel, a recreation of a first-century Middle Eastern village, a 500-seat theatre, an aviary, and a ‘journey through biblical history’ section, reports The Telegraph.
The park is expected to draw 1.6 million visitors a year when it opens in 2014.
It is likely to be built on an 800-acre site about 40 miles from an existing Creation Museum, near Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.
Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear while hailing the project said it would bring in 900 jobs to the state. (ANI)
