Nine trapped in China building collapse
June 20th, 2011 - 12:04 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, June 20 (IANS) Nine workers were buried under the rubble of an under-construction building that partially collapsed in an east China city, Xinhua reported Monday.
Seven construction workers were rescued from the debris in an overnight operation by about 200 rescuers.
The incident occurred when the four-storeyed recreation centre for senior citizens in Wuxi city of eastern Jiangsu province partially collapsed.
All the rescued workers were taken to hospital.
