Nikkei down 0.83 percent in morning trading
February 5th, 2009 - 11:42 am ICT by IANSTokyo, Feb 5 (Xinhua) Tokyo stocks fell Thursday morning with the key Nikkei index falling 0.83 percent.The benchmark Nikkei 225 Average shed 66.88 points to 7,972.06, falling below the 8,000 line.
The broader Topix index dropped 0.96 point, or 0.12 percent, to 791.82.
