New York Police Still Searching For Missing Jenni-Lyn Watson

lynnNov 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The law enforcement officials are searching frantically for a New York girl Jenni-Lyn Watson who disappeared last Friday after returning home for Thanksgiving break from Pennsylvania. The media outlets reported that the search teams have been able to cover 200 acres of wooded area till now but failed to receive any information about the missing girl. Though the law enforcement officials are tight lipped about the whole investigation, a source close to the search team has reported that the search is mainly based on Jenni-Lyn Watson’s cell phone records.

Sgt. John D’Eredita of the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office said that the search team, fire fighters and also her relatives searched over northern suburbs of Syracuse. However, the search team has asked the civilians not to interfere the police operation by forming their own search parties. The police said that if anybody gets any clue or information about the missing girl, they should contact authorities immediately. Jenni-Lyn Watson, 20, who is a junior dance major from Mercyhurst College in Erie, Pa., was last seen on Friday at her home in Liverpool.

Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office said that Jenni-Lyn Watson left the home in the afternoon and has been seen since then. Devin Ruic, the missing girl’s classmate said that the latter she was at her home on Friday morning but by afternoon she was gone from the home without any slightest of hint. Jenni-Lyn Watson’s family members contacted police and lodged a missing complain after they failed to contact her by Friday night as well. Jenni-Lyn Watson’s family said that it was “uncharacteristic” of the girl to leave home without notifying anyone. The police is still investigating if there were any foul play regarding this missing incident.
