Kuala Lumpur, June 7(ANI): The newly-formed Malaysia Makkal Sakti Party will be going on a nationwide roadshow to introduce committee members to the Indian community.

The president of the party, R S Thanenthiran, highlighted that his party will be a platform to voice the problems of the Indian community.

“For a start, we will address the citizenship problem faced by an estimated 60,000 Malaysian Indians,” The Star quoted Thanenthiran, as saying.

“The party will be going on a nationwide roadshow to collect data and introduce the committee members to the Indian community,” he added.

Thanenthiran was the former national coordinator of Hindu Rights Action Force (HINDRAF).

“We are a neutral party and will work with any coalition that supports the Indian community, be it Barisan Nasional or Pakatan Rakyat,” Thanenthiran said.
