Koirala sent a letter to Speaker Subas Nemwang on Wednesday, summoning the regular session.

The notice came a day after the special session of the House was put off till October 29 after the parties could not forge a consensus on the Maoists’ ’special political proposal’, which seeks a parliamentary proclamation declaring Nepal a republic and Constituent Assembly elections based on proportional representation.

The previous regular session of interim Parliament had ended on August 23. (ANI)
