Nancy Pelosi, The Speaker Of The ‘U.S. House’, Demands The Discharge Of An Iranian Human Rights Campaigner
September 4th, 2010 - 11:25 pm ICT by Sampurn Wire ( Leave a comment )Washington, September 4, 2010 (Just Flashed): The Speaker of the American House of Representatives happens to be the respected and veteran Democrat, Nancy Pelosi. She has recommended to Iran that it discharge an Iranian civil rights campaigner named Shiva Nazar Ahari, who is listed to go on trial on Saturday on indictments that could result in Shiva being conferred the capital punishment.
26-year-old Shiva Nazar Ahari happens to be a human rights advocate, who concentrates on opposition to child labor and on the protection of the rights of the political detainees (in Iran). Human rights institutions globally have alleged that Shiva has been the recipient of falsified indictments by the Iranian authorities. The indictments initiated against Shiva are that she has behaved in a manner that was against the national defense of Iran and that she had indulged in misinformation against the Iranian regime.
Nancy Pelosi has uttered in a declaration that Shiva is a courageous defender of human rights. The measures embraced by the Iranian authorities to capture and take legal action against her have unambiguously infringed worldwide human rights principles. Pelosi vocalized that global political chiefs and other prominent celebrities should launch a lucid communication that Shiva be discharged from jail straight away and unreservedly. Pelosi has remarked that the vociferous and impassioned activism of Shiva and her backing for the political inmates in Iran have made Shiva a target of the odium of the Iranian government. Pelosi has said that the indictments against Shiva are indistinct.
Previously, Shiva was an editor and, presently, is the spokeswoman for the Committee of Human Rights Reporters.
