My mum still does her own laundry, says Michelle Obama
April 22nd, 2011 - 3:14 pm ICT by ANINew York, April 22 (ANI): US First Lady Michelle Obama has revealed in an interview that her mother, Marian Robinson, believes in doing her own laundry and plans to teach her granddaughter Malia to do the same.
“Grandma’s going to be in charge of that cause my mother still does her own laundry. She doesn’t want strangers touching her intimate wears,” the New York Daily News quoted her as telling Gayle King on ‘The Gayle King Show’.
“As I tell them, they will not live in the White House forever,” she said.
“If they’re 17 and 18 and can’t make a bed, they’ll be pretty pathetic,” Michelle added. (ANI)
