Jan 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amy Denning whose 11-month-old son Oliver Denning had a tragic death last year has warned parents to be extremely cautious about their kids. The 11-month-old baby met with a tragic fate after his mother had left him barely for two minutes in a bath tub. The baby died due to a brain injury that he received from the near drowning incident. Mother Amy Denning who had left the child with his elder brother Jacob in the tub had gone away to clean a mat. After she returned back, it was the worst thing that she saw. Little Oliver was unconscious and had stopped responding.

The terrified mother unable to bear the trauma after seeing her little one in this condition rushed outside with the child in her arms crying out that she had killed her child. A year has passed but this distraught mother has still not been to overcome the grief of such a big loss. She confessed that it is every single moment that she misses Oliver. She recounted how bright and warm Oliver was saying that the child’s presence had lit up the lives of every one in the family. Any one who would hear that it was only an eight inches of water level inside the bath tub would be left wondering how the baby died in that much water. However, the little one was not being able to tolerate that much.

While Oliver’s conditions worsened inside the tub, brother Jacob unaware of the calamity continued to play inside it. The 11-month old baby was admitted to the Sheffield Children’s Hospital where he lived for one week with the help of ventilation after which he lost his life in the brain damage.
