More than half of UK men do most of the cooking at home
March 23rd, 2011 - 6:32 pm ICT by ANILondon, Mar 23 (ANI): A new poll has revealed that more than half of men in the UK do most of the cooking at home, inspired by celebrity male chefs like Gordon Ramsay.
Fifty-two per cent reveal they make the bulk of meals, reports the Daily Express.
And of those, 56 per cent say they are better cooks than their wives or girlfriends.
Mark Pearson, from discount website MyVoucherCodes.co.uk, which carried out the research, said: “It was interesting to find that men are the ‘chief cooks’ in just over half of UK co-habiting households. I think this reflects the changes in society over the past few decades.” (ANI)
