Three Civil Defence Department personnel and 15 villagers captured the 8m-long snake, which was discovered by settler Othman Taib inside a drain.
The 60-year-old found the reptile near his goat pen and held it responsible for the loss of his 10 goats in the last three months, reports Star Online.
The python died about six hours later after its capture due to injuries on the head after it was beaten by villagers and one of the goat’s horns which had pierced its insides. (ANI)
