Kathmandu, June 8 (ANI): The fourth largest party in the Nepal s Constituent Assembly (CA), the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum (MJF) on Sunday said it will not support Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala for the position of president.

According to Kantipur reports, Upendra Yadav, coordinator of MJF said that his party will not accept someone as a president whose party had been routed by the people in the election.

The nation needs a person who can give it a right direction. Koirala is not fit even on health grounds. He needs rest, Yadav said.

He, however, also praised Koirala for successfully conducting the CA election.

Earlier, Maoist chairman Prachanda, too, had said he is not too keen to support Koirala for president. (ANI)
