Missing Teen Dwight Clark’s Body Found In Bellingham Bay

Dwight Clark It came as a shock to Dwight Clark’s family when the Bellingham police reported yesterday that they found a body in Bellingham Bay and they suspect that the body is of missing Western Washington University freshman. Dwight Clark was missing from September 26 and the police had been frantically searching for the missing teen all these while. Dwight Clark was last seen at a party, which he left in the middle of the night and headed to dormitory.

The Bellingham police spokesman Mark Young told a reputed media source that the law enforcement officials found driver’s license on the dead body and hence they have come to the conclusion that the body is Dwight Clark’s. Whatcom County Medical Examiner Gary Goldfogel said that he would perform an autopsy of the body today. The police officials are of the opinion that the body seems to have in water for many days. The body of Dwight Clark was discovered by a Port of Bellingham contractor who spotted him in a long pond which was formerly owned by Georgia-Pacific Corporation.

The law enforcement officials said that they will announce the cause of death after the autopsy reports are released. The death of the young college student has left everybody in a state of shock. Yesterday hundreds of people attended the vigil which was held at Western Red Square as well as Boulevard Park to mourn for the death of Dwight Clark. The police say that the case will remain open until they find out what happened to Dwight Clark. The Bellingham police spokesman Mark Young also informed that the police has notified Dwight Clark’s family about the body.
