Washington, Aug 3 (IANS) Michelle Obama, wife of the US presidential hopeful Barack Obama, has been named, along with French First Lady Carla Bruni and Briatian’s Prince William’s girlfriend Kate Middleton, as among the best dressed women by the Vanity Fair magazine. The 69th annual edition of the magazine’s “International Best-Dressed List”, which also included Letizia Ortiz, wife of the heir apparent to the Spanish throne Felipe and Princess Mathilda of Belgium, is to be published in September, EFE reported quoting the magazine’s website which gave an extract of the list.

Actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie repeated in the category of best-dressed couples.

On the men’s best-dressed list, Patrick Dempsey, the actor from the popular TV series “Grey’s Anatomy,” takes the top billing, followed by compatriot Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond in the latest sequels of the saga.

Among the worst-dressed women are British singer Amy Winehouse and Iceland’s Björk, Princess Olga of Greece and former spice girl Victoria Beckham, who has sunk from being one of the best-dressed in the previous years to one of the 10 worst.
