Mel B to be new judge on ‘The X Factor’?
December 13th, 2009 - 7:04 pm ICT by IANSLondon, Dec 13 (IANS) Former Spice girl Mel B is reportedly lined up to replace Australian pop star Dannii Minogue on Britain’s hit talent show “The X Factor”.
Show founder and co-judge Simon Cowell is seeking a new judge for the 2010 series of the hugely-popular singing contest after Minogue told him she wants to quit the show to start a family, reports Daily Mirror.
The music mogul has now his sights set on Mel B as the replacement for Minogue.
“Simon thinks Mel could be brilliant as she is outspoken, down-to-earth and won’t hold back. There were times during the current series that he felt things were a bit boring and he is certain sparks will fly with her on board,” said a source.
Other judges on the show include Cheryl Cole and boyband manager Louis Walsh.
