The multi-state Mega Millions Lottery drawing for Tuesday night places $212 million at stake and players from every corner of the country are waiting with bated breath to see if they have the lucky numbers that can get them the jackpot.

A single ticket that matches all six numbers would mean a grand prize of $212 million to one player before taxes, if the player agrees to a single chunk payment. A “cash option” payout might mean a single payment of $140 million, before taxes. The numbers drawn on Tuesday night were 26, 32, 44, 50, 56 and the Mega Ball number came to 35.

Nothing was revealed about any winner on Tuesday’s draw but last Friday a number of players took home big money on the weekend draw. Almost $11.2 million was given out among 1.5 million players. As many as seventeen players matched five out of five numbers on the draw to claim a total of $250,000 in cash but no one got the Mega Ball number. Around 77 players got four out of five numbers as well as the Mega Ball number took home $10,000 in cash.

The next draw seems to be one of even bigger cash outs going by the tickets sold out before the Mega Millions draw. More and more people have come in to buy tickets for the massive jackpot amount of $212 million. If no winner takes home the money tonight the jackpot amount will probably rise to $250 million for next Friday’s draw.
