Meet the US woman who has spent $100K on 52 cosmetic procedures!
April 6th, 2011 - 12:57 pm ICT by ANILondon, April 6 (ANI): A women, who is from Ohio but is based in the UK, has spent over 100,000 dollars on 52 cosmetic treatments.
Cindy Jackson, aged 55, has revealed that out of the total procedures, ‘just’ 14 were full-scale operations under anaesthetic.
The rest, she said, were procedures such as Botox, chemical peels, cosmetic dentistry and laser treatment.
But Jackson said it was never her intention to win any records- she just wanted to look better in a natural way.
“It was never my ambition, it’s just that I had so much done. For me, it was just to look better,” the Daily Mail quoted her as telling ABC News.
“For me, the best result is one that looks natural. I wouldn’t ever want anyone to stop and stare at me and say: ‘That woman’s had a lot of surgery.’ I would never want to look like I’d had anything done,” she said.
Among the procedures she has suffered in the name of beauty are surgery to her upper and lower eyelids twice, five facelifts and several sessions of liposuction, which was even performed on her knees.
“On the inside of your knees you get that fat pad, so your knees rub together when you walk,” she explained.
Her most recent treatment was injections to stimulate collagen production in her hands.
“I’d had everything done to look younger, to look better, and my hands were letting me down. I did have prominent veins and tendons sticking up and now you don’t see them at all,” Jackson said.
She recalled how a cruel taunt as a teenager sparked her dissatisfaction with her looks, and used her inheritance after her father’s death to fund her first procedures.
“One guy said when I was 14, ‘You know Cindy, when you smile, from the side your nose and chin almost meet,’” she revealed.
“It was like being in the wrong body and wrong face and I felt that very much and wanted to change it,” Jackson added.
Jackson, who works as a consultant, advising others on cosmetic procedures, believes that her appearance now is how she should look.
“I feel like a young spirit and I don’t want to look in the mirror and see and old face. I feel this is me. We don’t have to look like our parents. It’s evolution. It’s medical progress,” she said. (ANI)
