Meet Mr. Bean, the Spanish President, courtesy hackers!
January 5th, 2010 - 5:54 pm ICT by ANI ( Leave a comment )London, Jan 5 (ANI): A smiling Mr Bean picture was posted on Spain’s official EU presidency website by hackers.
Spanish premier Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero has often been said to look like the British comedy character played by funnyman Rowan Atkinson.
And hackers possibly pointed to the resemblance.
The pick showed Mr Bean saying: “Hi there”.
An official at Zapatero’s office also confirmed the hacking of the site, set up to mark Spain’s six-month presidency of the European Union, reports Sky News.
The official added that no information on the site had been affected.
The government also said the site was getting thousands of hits as net users were confirming the media reports of the spoof. (ANI)
