Kuala Lumpur, Apr.6 (ANI): Stills of the video clip allegedly implicating top opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim have been splashed across the front pages of many local newspapers in Malaysia.

Parts of the video clip have also been aired by TV3 in its 8 pm prime time news reports.

Bahasa Malaysia daily Kosmo! put snapshots of the sex video on three pages, with a front page headline screaming “Face in the sex video uncovered”.

The video still shows an unknown woman clad in a towel seated on a bed, with another still showing a man hugging the woman. The faces of the two people have been digitally blurred by the newspaper.

Utusan Malaysia published three big snapshots, one showing a man wearing just a towel standing and then walking towards a vanity table while a woman, also wrapped in a towel, sat nearby.

The China Press also splashed three images from the video on its cover with a headline asking “Is it him?”

Nanyang Siang Pau, another newspaper printed stills showing a man standing, as if looking in the mirror, while the woman appeared to be looking for something on the bedside table.

A teaser video clip was also uploaded on YouTube on Sunday, which spread to blogs and other social networking sites on Monday.

The clip did not have any sex scenes and was without sound.
However, YouTube removed the clip on Monday due to violation of its policy on nudity or sexual content, but viewers had already posted comments on it by then. (ANI)
