Washington, Jan 30 (ANI): Senator John McCain has won Floridas Republican presidential primary, which makes him the front-runner for his partys nomination.
In his second straight win, Senator McCain led former Governor Mitt Romney by 36 per cent to 31 per cent.
Former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani trailed with 15 per cent. Former Governor Mike Huckabee came fourth with 13 per cent.
“Our victory might not have reached landslide proportions, but it’s sweet nonetheless,” The Washington Post quoted McCain, as saying.
Earlier, McCain had won the Republican presidential primary in New Hampshire and South Carolina.
On the Democratic side, Senator Hillary Clinton has won New Hampshire and Nevada Primary with a large margin, while Senator Barrack Obama has won the Iowa caucas. (ANI)
