Mark Sanford’s son said his extra-marital affair was “worse than Spitzer!”
February 1st, 2010 - 5:33 pm ICT by ANINew York, Feb 1 (ANI): South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford’s estranged wife Jenny has revealed in her book that one of her sons described his father’s affair with an Argentine mistress as being “worse than Eliot Spitzer!”
Jenny writes in her memoir “Staying True” that the 12-year-old Bolton Sanford showed “such clairvoyance” for predicting the firestorm their dad unleashed by having a fling with the sexy South American lass Maria Belen Chapur instead of hiking the Appalachian Trail, reports the New York Daily News.
Jenny says she made up her mind to tell the boys about their dad’s affair before his cheating made it to the headlines.
The four boys - Marshall, Landon, Bolton, and Blake - ranged in age from 10 to 16 at the time.
“Staying True,” from Ballantine Books is slated to hits stores on Friday. (ANI)
