Manmohan Singh arrives in Italy for G8-G5 summit

Rome, July 7 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived here Tuesday evening to participate in the G8-G5 summit being held in the earthquake-hit town of L’Aquila, about 100 km northeast of the Italian capital.
The prime minister, accompanied by his wife Gursharan Kaur, was flown to L’Aquila town from the airport here in a helicopter.
The meetings will be held July 8-10.
