Manmohan leaves for home after UN trip

New York, Sep 26 (IANS) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left here for Frankfurt Monday on his way home after a hectic five-day visit to attend the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.
After an overnight halt in Frankfurt, Manmohan Singh, who turned 79 Monday, reaches Delhi late Tuesday night.
External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna is staying back and is expected to have a meeting later Monday with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Besides addressing the UN General Assembly Saturday, Manmohan Singh also held separate bilateral meetings with the presidents of Iran, South Sudan and Sri Lanka, and the prime ministers of Japan and Nepal.
