Melbourne, Aug 15 (ANI): A man has been sentenced to seven years in jail after he raped his former girlfriend with a sex toy to scare her into properly locking her doors.

According to AdelaideNow, while sentencing the man, Supreme Court Justice Trish Kelly said she was ‘outraged’ that the 45-year-old man had used the couple’s previous sex life as an excuse for his crimes.

“I accept that she tolerated, rather than enjoyed your narcissistic, almost violent sexual appetite,” News.com.au quoted Justice Kelly as saying.

“I find it quite bizarre and unjustifiable that you went to her house in the early hours of the morning and committed a number of serious offences,” she added.

In June, the Beulah Park man was found guilty of two counts of rape and two counts of attempted rape in December 2007.

The rapist went to the victim’s house wearing gloves and a beanie, the court heard.

He tied her arms and feet together with tape and used a sex toy to rape her before pouring beer over her body.

The man had apologised to the woman after the incident, saying he had raped her to scare her into properly locking her doors, the court heard.

Justice Kelly said the man was “unable to accept the relationship was over” and continued to be a nuisance to his victim.

“It is not mitigating in the least that you were in a prior relationship with the victim. No woman should ever be confronted with the circumstances that she was confronted with that morning,” she said. (ANI)
