Man murders friend for killing goldfish
May 11th, 2012 - 9:54 pm ICT by IANSLondon, May 11 (IANS) A Frenchman has been arrested on charges of murdering a neighbour whose negligence led to the death of his goldfish.
The suspect - named Mario P - had asked 55-year-old Philip Emery to babysit the fish while he was away in February.
But when he returned, he found that Emery had dumped his aquarium on his doorstep and that the fish had died, The Sun reported Friday.
The man was held on suspicion of murdering in revenge. The dead man was found with a cracked skull in a water tank.
The two had also stopped speaking after the goldfish’s death. They lived in Le Mans, France, around 220 km from Paris.
