Man goes on stabbing spree in Moscow
December 10th, 2011 - 12:26 am ICT by IANSMoscow, Dec 9 (IANS/RIA Novosti) A man killed a woman and injured 10 other people with a knife in northeast Moscow Friday, police said.
“All the victims were taken to hospital, where a woman died of her injuries,” a police spokesman said.
A five-year-old boy also received medical treatment for shock after witnessing the incident.
The suspect was detained some 15 minutes after the attack. The man, identified only by his surname - Arbuzov - was registered with a psychiatric clinic in his home town of Shatura, some 70 miles (over 110 km) east of Moscow.
