Man arrested for allegedly groping British Airways flight attendant
May 4th, 2011 - 6:25 pm ICT by ANIMelbourne, May 4 (ANI): A man has been arrested after he allegedly groped a British Airways flight attendant while she was serving coffee.
According to the UK’s Daily Mail, Iurii Chumak, 52, allegedly touched the airhostess during a British Airways flight from London to New York.
Police documents revealed the flight attendant had served Chumak coffee before turning away from him to serve other passengers.
“The flight attendant bent over slightly to pour coffee into their cups, at which time the defendant Iurii Chumak placed his hand up her skirt, grabbed her genital area, and began to run his fingers back and forth,” News.com.au quoted police files as stating.
Another flight attendant witnessed the attack and restrained the passenger immediately.
Chumak told officers during questioning that he “was drinking on the aeroplane, fell asleep, and woke up in restraints”. (ANI)
