Malaysian men behind sex video unmasked
March 24th, 2011 - 7:10 pm ICT by ANIKuala Lumpur, Mar.24 (ANI): Two Malaysian politicians and a businessman have been unmasked as the mysterious ‘Datuk Trio’ that was behind a sex video scandal that shook the nation recently.
Former Malacca state chief minister Rahim Tamby Chik, another politician Shuib Lazim and businessman Shazryl Eskay Abdullah have been unmasked as men behind the video.
They said the moniker stood for “Datuk Trio”, or Three Datuks, as they all had the title, and demanded that an all-party royal commission of inquiry should be set up to investigate their claim that the video footage was genuine.
Rahim and Eskay came out in the open after Sungai Petani lawmaker Johari Abdul exposed the trio’s identity at a press conference.
According to The Star, Johari said he was sure the man in the video was not his party boss Anwar Ibrahim.
In response to his statement, Eskay said, “I know it is Anwar because I was there. My face is in the video.”
Meanwhile, police have started investigations into the scandal. (ANI)
