Malay Indian chamber to train 500 traders

Kuala Lumpur, Dec. 25 (ANI): The Malaysian Associated Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has set a side a sum of RM two million to train 500 new entrepreneurs.

“We will be submitting a proposal for the grant in early January,” The Star quoted chamber president K. K. Eswaran, as saying.

In October, Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak announced that the chamber would be allocated RM2mil to train Indian entrepreneurs.

Eswaran was speaking to reporters after a management council meeting attended by various state chambers yesterday. (ANI)
