Magnitude 5.1 quake hits Indonesia
June 8th, 2010 - 7:06 am ICT by IANSJakarta, June 8 (IANS) An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Molucca Sea in Indonesia but there was no report of any damage or casualty, the US Geological Survey said.
The quake which struck at 2227 Jakarta time (1527 GMT) Monday, had its epicentre at 0.278 degrees south latitude and 124.579 degrees east longitude, about 190 km east-south-east of Corontalo in Sulawesi province, Xinhua reported.
