Madonna set to make record earnings from tour

London, Dec 1 (IANS) Pop diva Madonna’s current ‘Sticky & Sweet’ world tour is set to rake in $282 million (185.7 million pounds), making it the biggest-selling solo jaunt ever.The tour kicked off in Cardiff, Wales August this year and the run is due to end in Sao Paulo, Brazil later this month, reports contactmusic.com.
Madonna held a previous record of $193.7 million (127.5 million pounds) with her ‘Confessions’ tour in 2006.
