London, April 19 (IANS) Pop star Madonna has injured herself after she fell off a horse.
Thesun.co.uk reports that the singer was riding a horse in New York’s Hamptons Saturday when the accident took place. She was rushed to Southampton Hospital. Her publicist Liz Rosenberg confirmed that she suffered “minor injuries and bruises” and has been released from the hospital.
Rosenberg added that further medical tests will be conducted and doctors will continue to observe her.
Madonna was visiting friends on Eastern Long Island at the time.
In 2005, the singer cracked three ribs and broke both her collarbone and hand in a horse-riding accident at her country home just outside London.
