London, April 13 (IANS) Actress Shirley MacLaine was shocked when she got the role of Coco Chanel in a TV mini-series because the late acting legend Adurey Hepburn had predicted she will suit the part. Contactmusic.com reports that MacLaine was working with Hepburn in the 1950s when Hepburn said ‘MacLaine would be perfect as Coco Chanel’.
MacLaine said: “We were working on the film ‘The Children’s Hour’. I was in my 20s and Hepburn said that I should play Coco Chanel when I was older.”
The actress admits she doesn’t know much about style, but she is certain she will be able to play the character.
