London, November 17 (ANI): Artists have recreated London’s skyline using hundreds of pieces of fruits and vegetables as part of a promotional campaign.

Carl Warner and a team of five model makers laboured for three weeks to raise high profile landmarks made of fruit and veggies that were all glued together.

While green beans were used as spokes to build the London Eye and its pods carved out of baby plum tomatoes, the Houses of Parliament was created from a mix of asparagus, green beans, runner beans and baby sweetcorn, reports the Telegraph.

Other recreated sights included St Paul’s Cathedral, the Gherkin, Nelson’s column, and the renowned dome.

Roopa Gulati from the Good Food channel, the company who commissioned the work, said: ‘This is a stunning image has quite literally transformed the London skyline with good food proves that fun with food in a creative and light-hearted way is the way forward’. (ANI)
