San Francisco, Mar 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Little children aged 9 years and 11 years helped their pregnant mother to give birth to their brother. A little boy of 9 years - Jabari Sanders called the emergency services for help, but by that time his mother was already in the process of delivering a baby in the bathroom. “My mom started screaming and then she started bleeding all over her body and then the baby came so I called 911 for an ambulance,” Jabari said on Thursday evening. “Then my sister told my mom to lie down.” Then he called 911, and said that, “The baby’s coming now!” Jabari Sanders. While he was on the phone his mother was screaming in the background, because she was delivering the baby at home without medical assistance.

So the medical dispatcher had no option, but to instruct the children on how they could help their mother to deliver the baby. She told the children how they must dry the baby with a towel, and instructed them to tie the baby’s umbilical cord with a string, before the paramedics reached their house.

Later the father of the children Geoffrey Sanders spoke in very warm words about his children who helped delivered the baby. He even called them ‘super heroes’. “I’m a proud father,” he said. “It’s kind of a pat on the back that we are doing something right.”
