Lindsay Lohan’s role in ‘Ugly Betty’ snipped

New York, Oct 23 (IANS) Hollywood singer-actress Lindsay Lohan’s role in American television comedy-drama series “Ugly Betty” has been cut from six episodes to four amid rumours of tensions on the set.Lohan has been accused of disrupting filming with her diva antics and of feuding with her co-star America Ferrera, reports contactmusic.com.
“It was a mess. Lindsay would show up every day with an entourage of people. She smoked 24/7, and after she left, they had to repaint her dressing room it was such a mess,” said a source to the New York Post gossip column PageSix.
Lohan’s representative has confirmed the actress’ run on the show has been shortened but insists the decision was an amicable one.
Lohan plays Kimmie, a former classmate of the main character Betty, in the third season of the series that went on air Sep 25 this year.
