London, April 5 (IANS) The new film “Chapter 27″ about the killer of Beatles legend John Lennon, starring Jared Leto, is doing much better than expected. The film, which also stars Lindsay Lohan, was released in the US last month and received mixed reviews. But now people have been flocking to see the movie, giving it the highest per-screen average of any current Hollywood release, reports contactmusic.com.
Distributor Peace Arch Entertainment Group Inc. said it is planning to expand the release to a few more theatres.
The movie explores the mind of Mark David Chapman in the days before he shot and killed Lennon in New York in 1980.
