Ledos Pizza Treat For The Loyal Customers

Oct 6, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Here comes a good slice of news for the pizza lovers of America. The well known food chain, Ledo Pizzas, famous for their unique rectangular shapes, will now celebrate their fifty fifth anniversary. For that, they will give their loyal customers a grands treat, where each slice of it will be availably for 55 cents.
The offer is valid for their slices of their small cheese pizzas and fountain drinks only. They have started their promotion from today and will continue till October 9, till the validity date. The square pizzas, which is the main USP of this chain, has used the tagline, “Ledo Pizza is square, because we don’t cut corners” for several years. This item is a delicious treat with a blend of sweet sauce, greasiness, thick pepperoni, and smoked provolone cheese on a very thin and crispy crust. Since this chain never chops the corners of the crust, they actually offer more quantity to its customers.
Ledo pizza was first opened in 1955, to establish itself as one of the leading pizza chains in the country. The first few stores were opened in University Boulevard in Adelphi shopping center and Maryland at the University of Maryland Campus. It was followed by their next venture in Virginia. Since then, their business has expanded a lot, and it now boasts of eighty stores in different places all over America like North Carolina, Georgia, West Virginia, Delaware, and Florida. In a survey in 2008, Pizza Today ranked it as 31st, amongst 100 pizza companies across the world. Every year, it makes a gross business of $84,000,000, from all the 80 stores in the country.
