Paris, May 30 (IANS) India’s Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy of the Czech Republic advanced to the third round of the men’s doubles in French Open tennis after a straight-set win over the Argentine pair of Jose Acasuso and Sebastian Prieto Friday. Ninth seed Paes and Dlouhy thrashed the unseeded Argentine pair 6-4, 6-4 in under an hour at the Roland Garros.

Rohan Bopanna and his Pakistan partner Aisam-ul Haq Qureshi bowed out after going down to top seeds Mike and Bob Bryan of America 1-6, 4-6 in the opening round.

Paes and Dlouhy are playing together for the first time but the duo gelled well and clinched the match with ease. They converted three of the five break points that came their way.
