Lavine Samma vows to have children till she gets a council house
November 22nd, 2010 - 9:33 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Nov 22 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A woman has vowed to have as many children as she can possibly have. She currently has 5 and counting. She is currently pregnant with her sixth child. The 5 previous children have all been taken into care by the Unite Kingdom government.
Lavine Samma, 27 years old is currently unemployed and says unless the UK government provides her with a council house, she will continue giving birth. This is because according to her, it is in the right of every woman to give birth to any number of children that she wants. All the five previous children were born within the last eight years.
She has the children with three different men and she even claim that she doesn’t know who the father of one of her children is. She is currently on government support and receives £600 in benefits. She is currently living at 16th floor inner-city council flat but is demanding a “proper house” from the council.
Samma’s action has been highly criticized. A group called TaxPayers’ Alliance said Samma’s action “shows why our welfare system needs so desperately to be reformed’”. A spokesman at the City Council failed to comment on the issue saying the council does not comment on individual cases.
